'Instant Karma' is as psychological thriller about an agoraphobic man called Steve Green, who is alone in his isolated farmhouse for the weekend, as his young daughter's (who are also his carers) are spending a few days with their grandmother, for a well earned break. Two opportunist thieves break into the house thinking it is empty. However, when they discover Steve they are unsure of what to do at first. After finding nothing of value in the house the thieves are informed by Steve that there is no cash in the house, and his eldest daughter, who is in control of the family finances, has the bank and credit cards and PIN numbers with her. The thieves decide to take Steve hostage and wait for his daughters to return. During this time they torment and ridicule Steve. They threaten to kill him and his daughter's once they have the cards and PIN numbers. In order to save himself and his daughter's Steve realises he must face his fears and fight back.
